On Tues. evening, November 30, 2021 prior to both chambers adjourning they passed HB 110. If enacted, it will allow landlords to apply on behalf of their residents for HOPE funds with their permission. Among other things, it would also allow for rent recovery on behalf of current or previous tenants, allow for reasonable late fees, and align the recovery amounts with the federal guidelines. The bill is awaiting the Governor’s signature.
